Akane returns to Hasama's room and they start living together again, but she says she'll be home late from work. Worried, Hasama takes his dog and goes to pick Akane up from her part-time job. On their way home, they pass a park and their dog, Goro, acts like he wants to play. The two sit on a bench and watch Goro play. Meanwhile, Akane begins to tell him her story. Hasama hears this and gives her advice to rely more on the adults around her. Suddenly, she looks ahead and realizes that Goro is gone. Akane stands up to look for him, but stumbles and falls on Hasama. Hasama holds her in his arms, but his hands begin to move suspiciously.
